In the framework of the press conference of the National COE of Ecuador, the Minister of Tourism, Niels Olsen, confirmed that the obligation to present a negative PCR test to enter the country is eliminated for those passengers who have a vaccination certificate against the COVID-19. As they clarified, those who do not have the complete inoculation must undergo a test up to 3 days before boarding the flight and present the negative result upon arrival. Galapagos, the country's tourist and natural flagship to the world, would be 100% vaccinated at the end of June, which would allow it to show itself as a safe destination, also for its own population, and to guarantee its take-off towards recovery.
