The reopening plan will take two well-defined steps.

Step one - From the 1st of October, travellers from bordering countries such as Brazil, Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay will be able to enter the country.

Step two - From the 1st of November, all travellers are welcome!

What is required for those wanting to explore the country:

  • Travellers will need to be double-jabbed.

  • Negative PCR test within 72 hours prior to the departure date.

  • Travellers will need to be tested (PCR) on Day 5 and Day 7.

The government have advised that when 50% of the population is doubled vaccinated, they will not require the PCR test prior to arriving in Argentina and nor the test on Day 5 & 7.

These are the measures that are becoming more flexible:

  • The mandatory use of a face mask in open spaces is lifted when moving about individually, as part of a bubble and when there is NO agglomeration of people. It continues to be mandatory in closed spaces such as (classrooms, cinema, theatre, work environments, public transport, shows and mass gathering events as well as when there are crowds of people.

  • Unlimited social gatherings of people as long as they comply with the prevention measures, use of masks where applicable, social distancing and are all well ventilated.

  • No restrictions on any economic activity as well as religious, cultural, sports, recreational and social activities in closed spaces, maintaining prevention, mask, distance and ventilation measures.

  • Travel authorization for retirees, graduates and principals of students is to follow the recommended protocols.

  • Nigh-clubs will operate with a 50% capacity for those who are double vaccinated and at least 14 days prior to the event taking place.

  • Party halls, fiestas and similar activities: are open for double jabbed individuals who have been vaccinated at least 14 days prior to the event plus a negative PCR test within 48 hours prior to the event. Under 18 years old will need to follow a different protocol that is currently being developed.

  • Big events of more than 1,000 people will be allowed to operate with 50% capacity but they will need to follow a specific protocol. This protocol will be worked on an individual basis with the parties involved.

We are all so happy that Argentina will be once again reachable from all around the world.

If you require any additional information about Argentina and what it has to offer, give us a shout, you will be amazed!

Thank you.

Daniel

Dear friends and colleagues.

Here is the latest travel update relating to COVID-19 and travel restrictions for Peru.

Fully vaccinated passengers, regardless of their place of origin, can enter the country by only presenting their vaccination certificate, without requiring a PCR test.

Passengers who have not yet received both doses of the vaccine must have a negative molecular test in the last 72 hours prior to arrival in the country. It is also necessary to sign an affidavit upon arrival.

The only exception to this rule is for the entry of passengers from South Africa or those who have made a stopover in that country. This is suspended until September 19th.

Passengers from Brazil and India can now enter normally by presenting their complete vaccination certificate.

The alert level has been reduced in the main tourist destinations, including Lima and Cusco, now classified as moderate alert destinations.

• Capacity is expanded in main attractions.

• Reduced curfew (from 1am to 4am).

• Beaches have reopened.

• The use of a double-mask is mandated in public places that tend to be crowded, such as supermarkets and pharmacies.

Sincerely,

Daniel and Valencia team

Dear colleagues and friends,

We are pleased to inform you that Chile is opening its borders to international tourists from October 1st! In order to enable the safe reactivation of tourism, the government has created a website with all relevant information. On the official website https://chile.travel/en/traveltochileplan, which is also available in English, you will find detailed information on the requirements for entering Chile, onward travel within the country and a section of frequently asked questions that is regularly updated whenever there is a change in the situation.

CURRENT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • Entry into Chile can be via the three airports of Iquique, Antofagasta and Arturo Merino Benítez (SCL, Santiago).

  • Before entering the country, the vaccines received in one's own country must be confirmed so that a mobility passport (pase de movilidad) can be issued from Chile. The application for recognition of vaccines is made through the following page https://mevacuno.gob.cl/. The recognition process can take up to a month. This time should be taken into account when planning your trip to Chile.

  • Foreign minors who are not vaccinated and therefore cannot apply for a mobility pass are not yet allowed to enter the country.

  • Tourists entering the country must have travel health insurance covering an amount of USD 30,000.

  • Proof of a negative PCR test taken 72 hours before boarding is still required. A PCR test is carried out again at the destination airport in Chile.

  • Complete the electronic form "Affidavit of the Traveler" up to 48 hours before boarding, in which you must provide your contact information, health and location history. This form will include a QR code as a means of verification. It can be completed at https://www.c19.cl/ (English version available).

  • Tourists entering the country must travel by private transport and directly to the specified residence for 5 days from the time of entry and be quarantined there. Failure to comply with the quarantine will result in a penalty and the mobility pass will immediately lose its validity.

Kind Regards,

Turavion and travelArt team
