Gondwana Brasil: New Sustainable Tourism Fee for Angra dos Reis and Ilha Grande

We would like to share an important update for travel to Angra dos Reis and Ilha Grande.

The local municipality has introduced a new Sustainable Tourism Fee (TTS) through the "Viva Angra" Digital Tourism System. While the platform is currently being implemented, the fee became mandatory from 1 June 2026.

To ensure a smooth experience for travellers, please note the following:

New bookings (requested on or after 28 May 2026): the fee will be automatically included in our booking total. Fee applicable: BRL 50 per person (Mainland / Island Access Fee).

Existing bookings (confirmed prior to this announcement): the fee is not included in the reservation and will need to be paid locally upon arrival. Detailed payment instructions will be provided within the traveller documentation to make the process as simple as possible.
